Annual Appeal

Vet-i-Care is committed to being there for families in need.

Dear friends and supporters,

Greetings to you! I write this letter with deep thankfulness for all you have done to support Vet-i-Care and ultimately families in need during a time of unprecedented uncertainty.

Much has changed for us in the past two years. Many of you knew Eileen Schuck, the Director of Vet-i-Care, who championed its cause for years and passed away around Christmastime last year. Since then, I have taken over the organization's operations and continue to carry out its mission of helping pets. During the pandemic, we gave hope to 39 pets across the United States for $36,000!

We also have a fundraiser going on! A children's book was just published to honor the life and rescue work of Kaitlyn O'Hara, a local veterinary technician who passed away earlier this year. This animal-centric book follows the adventures of the "cat whisperer" and her Chihuahua, Chloe, as they search for a trapped family of felines. Sales from the book support Vet-I-Care, and it makes an excellent gift to the young animal advocates in your life. Learn more or purchase a copy at daniellelacy.com/cat-whisperer-fundraiser.

Vet-i-Care is committed to being there for families in need in the coming year and well into the future, but we cannot do it without you. Please consider making an end-of-year donation at Vet-i-Care.org so that we will be there for others.

With gratitude,
Maria Lutz
President of Vet-i-Care
